MMA ODDS AND ENDS FOR TUESDAY: VALÉRIE LÉTOURNEAU OFFICIALLY SIGNS WITH BELLATOR, TOM BREESE INJURED

The news was broken by ariel Helwani Friday, then confirmed on Monday that UFC strawweight title challenger Val??rie L??tourneau has signed with Bellator MMA. L??tourneau (8-6) heads into her promotional introduction off three consecutive losses, enduring setbacks to Joanna J??drzejczyk, Joanne Calderwood and many recently Viviane Pereira this past December in UFC 206. Earlier this season, from the UFC, the Top Team product was released following her slide.
The 33-year-old L??tourneau will fit in well into Bellator flyweight division and has had trouble before making the strawweight limitation in the UFC. She strove for Season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter but was eliminated after dropping to Roxanne Modafferi by first-round submission.
L??tourneau has been given a second opportunity on note at UFC 174 where she took home a victory over Elizabeth Phillips at June 2014. She followed that up with wins within Jessica Rakoczy and Maryna Moroz that earned her a title shot against J??drzejczyk in UFC 193.
